| October 2, 2000 Australian Disney Stores have just received Witch Pooh & Devilish Tigger Bean Bags for Halloween . So far they have not received Piglet. ____________________ October 1, 2000 Nothing new to report in bean bag news. I thought I might take today to do a close up on the Halloween Dangles from Japan.
When they first came out I thought that they were the same. Upon Closes look they are defiantly different. On the left is the newest one just released. It is a bit fatter, carrying a pumpkin and the Halloween in the middle is plastic, not felt. Even the faces are different. As the newest dangle has a much fatter, rounder face Pumpkin Dangle This years release in on the left hand. As you can see they are much more noticeably different. Both has the pumpkin smiling face. The first pumpkin released (right) has it on his hat, which is more like a pull over. September 30, 2000
Yvonne reports that there are four more beans to add to your Disney on Ice collection. She found new bean bags Safari Mickey, Minnie, Nala and Simba at the Jungle Adventure Disney on ice show. All bean bags were £7.00. Minnie has a leopard print ribbon around her hat with ties into a bow and her outfit is a pale yellow color. She also have a leopard print belt. Mickey is in a green khaki safari suite and hat. Nala and Simba are both a Bit more plush than the Disney Store version and Simba has a little tuft on top of his head. There are 6 different Disney on Ice shows. Last year we saw these bean bags from the 75th Anniversary years of Magic Ice show.

Yuki tells me that they have released Sepia Workshop Color Plush pins in characters Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Pooh Tigger and Piglet. Here I have the Plush items pictured. The Plush sell for 2000 yen except Pluto which is 1900 yen. Pins usually retail for 980yen.

September 26, 2000 Nutty, Notty or Knotty? Baloo sends pictures of Pooh and the Tag off a new shirt she just bought in the UK. Looks like the correct spelling for the new bean coming will be Knotty. My guess is that Pooh will look similar to the one pictured on the shirt.

Lastly we see Friendship Set from UK. As you can see there is no difference from this set verses the USA set. The UK was able to pre-order their sets. In the USA this set was extremely hard to get.

There are two Frontierland Pooh's. The one pictured is the Disney store managers version which was just recently given away at a Conference. This version of Pooh has SMC 2000 printed on the paw to signify the store managers conference 2000. The second Version of Frontierland Pooh will arrive in UK Disney Stores September 26th, 2000. I don't know if there will be any significant differences on the Poohs. My guess is it will be the same minus the SMC 2000. Thanks to those who emailed me the information and pictures. In the Christmas Shop in Disneyland Paris Claudia found these two new items. They are 4" tall. They come with three Candy Canes in the character stocking. The Pooh one says Winnie on the stocking and the Mickey one says Disney Land Paris ____________________________ The Halloween Beans (pictured below) are still not out in the Parks of Disneyland Paris. Christmas Releases coming To be released sometime over next few months is Jester Pooh, he is the Christmas bean bag range to go along side Angel set and exclusive Santa pooh and Tigger with piglet. Jester pooh is dressed as suggested in a jester outfit and has little golden bells around his hat that jingle. Frontier Pooh variation Disney store managers were recently given a frontier pooh with a difference....only 200 were made and they have SMC 2000 printed on the paw to signify the store managers conference 2000 Thanks to Jon for the news. Will let everyone know more as I hear it. __________________ September 13, 2000 Australia Sports Beans I ordered a couple of sets directly from Australia Disney. I just received mine Monday. I know that people are still waiting for their sets from Australia. Be patient they will be coming. I also traded directly with someone living in Australia for a set. Much to my surprise I have found that there are two versions of Windsurfing Pooh. Here are the differences Disney Store direct order : Year 2000 embroidered, New style pooh, different mouth, sail is brighter. Grey strip is dull and red stripe is not as bright and shiney. The sail board seems to made out of a little bit different material. Australia Version: Australia lettering not embroidered. Pooh is not same pooh. He is not as fat, Mouth not as big, and is lighter in color. Sail is lighter in color (very slightly), gray stripe is shiny and red stripe is brighter. Name Hang Tag is different in lettering. Second hang tag is bigger and doesn't have DN12500

September 10, 2000 Halloween isn't even here and we are starting to see the arrival of Christmas items. April tells me that WDW has gotten these new Mini Plush Magnets.
This snowman Pooh looks exactly like the larger version released sometime back but I am told that this version is a Mini Pooh.
New Disney items such as the Dangles pictured below, Candy Halloween Pooh, Friendship set and more.... USA Disney stores will be receiving more Halloween items. If your store has not yet received items you have been reading about on the net you might give them a check. The CM told me to expect items the next few days, they had two shipments coming in. My store will be putting items out Thursday and Saturday. Now it will vary around the country, I live in the Pacific Northwest and we tend to get items later than those on the East Coast. Best Advice I have for anyone still in search of these new items is to check with your local Disney Store.

This years theme for the Disneyana convention is "It's a Small World" The characters are Cactus, Donkey and Hyena. They are available to those attending the Convention. This set is dated on the bottom and you will see that it comes in it's own plastic tag . Looks to me as if they have made room in the boat for Gondolier Mickey, which will be available on Public Day Saturday, September 9, 2000 at the Official Disneyana Convention.

Disneyland Paris It has been reported by Claudia that Disneyland Paris has put out some Christmas Bean Bags already. All tags say Noel mini plush and the labels are deep red with a Christmas tree on the edge of the label.

Japan Halloween Report
_________________________________________ September 1st Japan Disney Store will release five Mbbp beans in a Pumpkin Style Bag. The whole set will sell for 3800yen. They will not be sold separate. So if you want them you have to buy the bag filled with these five characters.... Pooh as Kangaroo Pooh as Scarecrow Tigger as Dinosaur Piglet Western Style Pooh as Witch The last two sound like the same ones the USA got. Will be interesting to see if they are identical or will have some changes or variances. If you remember the first time we saw Japan put a complete set together for sale it was back in July when they released the "As Tigger set" in the bag pictured below. You had to buy the whole set in the bag to get them. They were not totally identical to the UK release either ..which was another surprise.
