Just arrived in Disneyland is 2003 New Year's Mickey. He is 7" high and musical. He plays AULD LANG SYNE. He is wearing his Party Hat with 2003 on it and has his sound maker. He is ready to celebrate the New Year! His Batteries are not replaceable.

New Treasure Planet Morph and Nightmare before Christmas scary Teddy are new beans that are now available from Disneyland.

Japan Disney Store will released "Be Minnie " series every month from
January in 2003. Here we see January Minnie in pink, February Minnie in blue and March Minnie in green.

You can find bean bags for $5.99 in USA Disney Stores. At Disney online beans bags are also on sale. Example the Santa sets of 4 that sold originally for $34.00 are now $23.99. I didn't go through all the bean bag pages but it appears that ALL bean bags online are on sale!

Japan Disney Store will release Horoscope Pooh Series on the third Saturday
in 2003. If you notice both feet have pads with color and on the one foot there is a lot of detail. The back of Pooh has winks attached to his purple coat. Pooh is one of Little Star, beanie is 1200 yen and dangles is 680 yen.

This trip to the Disney Store I noticed a new item, Santa Finger Puppets. I found Santa Pooh, Santa Rolie Polie Olie and Santa Minnie Mouse. Cinderella emailed telling me that they also had Sulley, Mike, Mickey, Tigger and Eeyore also. They retail for $5. and come on top of a Candy Cane. They are about the same size as Pooh dangles which is about 3"

New to Disneyland is Mickey Resort and Pooh resort MBBP for 2003. Also shown here is DCA Grr Hiking and DCA Grr Snowboarding. Below is Disney's Grand Californian Hotel Pluto in his Spa Robe

Disneyland Emporium had new Valentine beans. Mickey, Minnie and Pooh and Eeyore inside fluffy candy hearts. Each heart has a saying ....following the sweetheart candy popular for Valentines Day.

Japanese New Year ( Osyogatsu) pins were released at Japan Disney Store on
14th of December. They features Japanese traditional playing or decoration that are done
during Osyogatsu.

Disney Store's in the USA had originally told collectors that starting last Tuesday they could get this Pooh w/globe set free with purchase. That promotion was cancelled or maybe just delayed....as I hear it is still in the works and coming up soon. You might want to check with your local store today or possibly Friday to see if it surfaces into reality.

Pooh is going space age this New Year in this bright blue and silver shiny bug costume complete with silver and blue spotty legs and antennae. This is the 2003 version of the Pooh Bug Mini Bean Bag that Disney Store has released in previous years, and is a great addition to your collection if you already have the others dating back from the year 2000 to the present.

Cinderella emailed that her DS told her that Winter Pooh Plush will be a free promotional item with purchase starting next week. I have heard two amounts, one was spend $50 to get the set free. The other was spend $40. to get the set free. So there might be some promotional postcards in the mail! Winter Pooh Plush comes with a mini Pooh snowglobe which matches Tigger and Eeyore mini snowglobes (pictured below) that have been available since the beg. of November. Pooh mini globe to my knowledge has not been sold separately in the USA Disney Stores. This special edition Pooh with bonus snow globe retails for $45.00.

New to the Disney store is PJ Pooh and PJ Tigger. Pooh is dressed in a Black and white Pajama outfit with blue trim and looks very close to a Dalmation. Tigger is dressed in a giraffe type pajama outfit. Both retail for $8.50 each.

Pooh is dressed in a green shirt with Pooh stitched on the front. He wears a Santa Hat and is holding a red present with purple ribbon. He comes zipped up in a red, green and purple stocking with 2002 embroidered on the front. Thanks to Barry for the additional close-up picture of Pooh!

Update: It has been reported that some UK Disney stores have already received this pooh! The Pooh inside is really tiny. He has on a green shirt and is holding a present. He retails for £7.99

Now available from Disneyland new Christmas bean bags Mickey and Minnie in their holiday best. These beanies also have the dated tag and sell for $9.00.

Mickey and Minnie as Santa and Mrs. Claus retails for $25.00. Then we see Elf Eeyore and Santa Pooh. Below you will notice a variety of Holiday plush. If you click on the picture you can see more details.

One of Disneyland's Christmas theme this year is "Merries Place on Earth". There were many items to be found including mini globe, plate, Christmas cards, candle toppers, mugs, ornaments, stockings, flag, tree skirt, wreaths, apparel and more!

Pictured here is a full size globe which plays "Deck the Halls". To the right is a mini-snowglobe.

Another theme seen at Disneyland was Mickey and Minnie Victorian. Here we see a Waterglobe which retails for $40. a tree skirts and statue set which retails for $25.

There are many Pooh family Christmas items for sale at Disneyland. I particularly liked this tree-topped pictured at right. You can find ornaments, frames, wall hangings, stockings to figural ornaments. Defiantly something there for every Winnie the Pooh fan.

These bean bags were available from WDW last year. This year they have turned up at Disneyland.

Eto Pooh beanie and dangle have finally been released in Japan Disney Stores. You can see his left sole is embroidered with 2003 using gold threads. Eto is Japanese original year and it is dependent on Buddhism. In Japan Sheep is Eto for next year.

Just released in Japan Disney Stores is December Birth Stone Pooh beanie and dangle. This is the last in this series.

I have confirmed with Sarah AU CM that Sweater Goofy (pictured below) released at WDW is the same one released in Australia Disney Stores. In Australia there was Winter Jumper Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy & Pluto. They are 9" retail 24.95au All I have been able to confirm that WDW received was Winter Goofy, Pluto and Donald. This Lbbp Sweater Goofy is new from WDW. Here we see Goofy is ready for the winter chill in his purple & pink sweater with matching scarf and ski cap.

New to Walt Disney World 2003 Pooh mbbp. Pooh is wearing a red and white ball cap with 2003 on it. He has a red and white jacket shirt that says Pooh. The back of the jacket says 'Walt Disney World 2003'. On his foot is a silver button with a bee and the date 2003

Christmas Plush/Watch set

Available this season from Tokyo Disney Resort Disney Store is this Minnie Christmas gift watch. This package comes with a small Minnie plush. Yoko tells me that Disney Stores in Japan sell Mickey but only the resort sells Minnie. This is limited edition of 500 and sells for 5000 yen.

Skate and Ski mbbp

Susan just visited Disneyland Paris and found Mickey, Goofy and Pluto on Roller Skates beanbag set. These were released back in July 2002 but I think this is the first time pictures of them have been put on a newsite. They are DLP exclusives and limited edition, but most interestingly with the old Disneyland Paris logo tag, though Disney Studios Paris were already open! Mickey is limited to 6.000, Goofy 5.040, and Pluto 8.016. Not sure about the odd numbers. They sell for Euro 9.90 each. Also she found the winter sports skiing set - Mickey, Minnie and Pluto, also selling for Euro 9.90. They are DLP exclusive but not limited and have the new DLP Resort logo on the tag. They came out in September.

Yoko emails that Tokyo Disney Resort Disney store has the Snowflake series. This is the same series that USA Disney Stores and USA Online Disney has available for $19.50. Bambi, Thumper, Dumbo retail for 2000 yen each. Mickey and Minnie retail for 2400 yen each.

Globes & Accessories

These Christmas items can be found in Japan Disney Stores. You will notice that they are in the same design as the Winter Lbbp released last year from WDW. White Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger with blue, purple and green accessories.

Pooh Figure Snow globe retails for 1200 yen. Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger on the slight memo clip which retail for 1800 yen.

Disney Christmas Globe with Mickey getting the Christmas tree ready. Around the globe you see Nutcracker Goofy, Dumbo and various other characters.

DAT Pooh

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving in the USA! Now that the day is almost over it is time to get prepared for shop to you drop. Two stops that I am aware of this year will be The Disney Store for DAT Pooh (Day after Thanksgiving mbbp) and JC Penny for a Disney globe.

DAT Pooh retails for $8.50 From reports I received there was plenty of stock and this Pooh was not limited in how many you could purchase. Those who spent $40. received a free stitch Plush and there were other various discounts being offered.

Also I heard that the Giant Band Leader Mickey promotion was to start Dec 2nd and not after Thanksgiving as originally reported.

Disney Store Plush

Here today we see pictures of Christmas items from Japan Disney Store.

Jumbo white Pooh and Jumbo Christmas cape Pooh are 95cm and retails for 19800yen. They are also limited Edition of 2002. If you look close you will see White reindeer Pooh mbbp in-between them which gives you a good idea of size of these plush items.

Next is Mickey and Minnie bean/plush and they retail for 1200 yen. There is also a larger size available which retails for 2400 yen each.

Here we see Santa Pooh Cushion which is pictured with Reindeer pooh for size comparison.

Pooh and Piglet light up plush retails for 3200 yen and sits about 30 cm.
When you push red mark on the ribbon, the wreath lights up and makes sound.
