Gingham Tigger

Newly released to UK Disney Stores is Gingham Tigger £9.99 (15.00 Euros).  Here we see Tigger dressed not in fur, but a checked Gingham pattern of white and orange with yellow checked accents.   Jayne tells us that there is a full Gingham range out to include Pooh, Eeyore & Piglet.

Around the World Mickey

This Mickey has traveled to all the parks.   He is shown wearing a Tokyo Disneyland shirt, a Walt Disney World baseball cap, carries a Disneyland Paris book in one hand, and a Disneyland pennant in the other.   The back of the shirt reads "Disney - Been there! Done that!" The bottom of the left foot reads "Around the World."

Host and Hostess Mbbp

Mickey and Minnie are dressed in the Walt Disney World Haunted Mansion host and hostess costumes. Mickey wears green pants, striped white vest, black tie, and a green tuxedo coat - with tails. Minnie's ensemble includes green skirt, green and black stripe shirt, white collar and the signature "bat hat."

Shown here is new mbbp Mickey and Minnie released in conjunction "10th Anniversary Epcot Flower & Garden Festival" at Walt Disney World.   Minnie his wearing her gardening gloves, hat and holding a yellow basket of flowers.  Mickey is holding a bushel of apples. Both have 2003 embroidered on their foot and a button on  the left foot reads "10th Anniversary Epcot".

Here is a closer look at the new Ice Cream Plush from Japan Disney Store.  Below is pictures of the embroidered Ice Cream emblem that is on Pooh and Tigger's foot.  Both Plush items retail for 2000yen.

Japan Disney Store will also have a new series of items that called "Marine series" to celebrate summer.  These items are now available in Japan Disney Stores.  Pictured first is Marine Mickey and Minnie Plush and then Marine Minnie, Mickey and Donald plush pins.

Japan Disney Store has also released Ice Cream Eeyore, Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger.  Each character has a different ice cream emblem on their foot.  Piglet is sold at 1800 yen and the other all retail for 2000 yen each.

Birthday Pooh

Just recently Japan Disney Store released Little Star Birthday Pooh.  This is the third year a Happy Birthday Pooh has been released in Japan Disney Stores.  This year's design shows Pooh holding a Birthday cake with strawberries.    Pooh is wearing a red shirt and green party hat.  Pooh retails for 980 yen.

Ice Cream Little stars

Pictured here are Ice Cream Little Star Pooh, Tigger, Piglet.  The Ice cream series was due to be released April 18th but has already started to show up in Japan Disney Stores.   You can take off or put on ice-creams they holding.  The Disney Stores will have several ice creams flavors to decorate, so you can arrange your favorite one.  Little Star mbbp retails for 980 yen.   

Here we see Pooh holding onto a large pink ice cream.  In the middle is the Little star from above and then we see  the other dangle of Pooh eating an ice cream.  The Pooh danglers retail 580yen each.

Ice Cream Dangle

Pictured here is a new Dangle from Hong Kong Disney Stores.   Here we see Pooh holding ice cream cone and he is dressed just as a ice cream.  With pink bumble gum head and brown cone pants.

He is holding a white diploma (degree) that says CLASS OF 2003 and there is a seal beneath that. He stands 9 inches tall from tip of hat to bottom of foot.  Mickey retails for $8.50

Pictured here is new Mbbp that can be found in USA Disney Stores.  Starting from front and moving counter clockwise  is Teacher Pooh, Graduation Pooh, Raincoat Pooh, Raincoat Piglet, Raincoat Eeyore, and then Easter Pooh, Candy Easter Tigger and Easter Eeyore.

Teacher Pooh Mbbp is holding a chalkboard in the shape of an apple with #1 Teacher written on it. In his other hand is a piece of chalk.   He is wearing his regular red shirt. Pooh retails for $8.50.

Graduation Pooh Mbbp is wearing is blue gown and cap and holding his "Class of 2003" diploma.

Raincoat Mbbp Set shows Pooh is a yellow slicker with black stripping.  He is very much dressed as his favorite bee who's emblem in on his coat.    Next we see Raincoat Piglet who is sporting a pink raincoat. The raincoat had little butterflies and flowers all over it.  Then there is Eeyore is a red slicker with lady bugs all over them.  Each mbbp retails for $8.50

20th Anniversary Mickey

Tokyo Disneyland will release some items to celebrate their 20th anniversary.  They are to be released April 15, 2003

Pictured here is a Mickey doll with five different costumes.  You will notice that the plush pins below follow the same designs.  Mickey is about 22cm tall and retails for  6800 yen.

They come in rectangle package that represents the different Mickey's on it.

Then here we see TDL 20th Anniversary cell phone strap.  The again have the same five designs and then another that is anniversary coin.  This set retails for 1500 yen.

St. George Pooh

 St. George's Day Pooh is just starting to arrive in UK Disney Stores. Pooh is the new fuzzy style in design. He has the words "St. George" written across the front. He also is holding a sword and has a silver helmet on.  He is a Limited Exclusive Edition retailing for £6.99.

2003 Japan Little Star Horoscope Aries Pooh and Dangle has just been released in Japan Disney Stores. Here you will see Little Star Pooh with yellow footpads.  The left one has a picture of a lamb.  The Dangle has Aries embroidered on a cloud.  On top of the cloud you can see a matching yellow and white mini pooh.

Disneyland Easter Mbbp

Now available at Disneyland are these four new MBBP for Easter.  Easter Chick Pooh, Easter Bunny Eeyore, Easter Chick Mickey and Pink Bunny Minnie.  They are all carrying a colorful basket of eggs. Disneyana Captain Hook Mbbp

This new mbbp is a Disneyana Convention item.  The theme is Adventure of the High Seas.  This mbbp is limited edition size of 400 and cost $9.

U.S. RAINCOAT EEYORE

U.S. Disney Store's are starting to receive this new MBBP for Spring that features Eeyore in a raincoat. Raincoat Eeyore is wearing a red vinyl raincoat with a ladybug print on it. His rain boots even have a ladybug design on them. Also released is Thumper in a yellow raincoat. (Not pictured) Each are retailing for $8.50.  Marc says that Pooh or Tigger may also join this group of MBBP.

Pink Raccoon Pooh

Japan Disney Store has just released 2003 Japan Little Star Pink Raccoon Pooh and its Dangle.  Pooh is seen here dressed in a pink and white Raccoon's outfit and is holding a strawberry.

Lilo and Stitch bean bags have also been released in Japan Disney stores.

Easter Baskets

The USA Easter Basket out this year was so close in design I decided to take a closer look at them together.  Pictured above is both baskets side by side.  You will notice that the USA 2003 one is slight bigger and looks a bit plusher.

Here you will notice that Pooh size is very similar on both USA and UK versions.  The UK Pooh does have beans in him and he is wearing bunny ears.  The UK Pooh is attached to the basket and can not be displayed any other way without doing some cutting.  The USA Pooh has a long string attached to him and can easily sit outside the basket.  This is a nice touch as you can zip up the basket and display them in front of it. Retail cost of the USA basket is $12.50 US.  Retail cost of the UK Basket was £7.99 (approx $12.64US)

Easter Hoppers

A few days ago we saw Eeyore Easter Wind-up (pictured below).  Also released from USA Disney Stores is this Pooh and Tigger Wind-ups.  Tag states Happy Hopper.   Wind Up Plush

Candy Bags

Pictured here are candy bags with Easter pictures of Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger on the front.   Each fabric bag has a zipper on it and inside you will find jelly beans. 

Cuddle Characters

Pictured here are new plush items that come packaged in a box.  These are bigger than the ones we saw at Valentines.  They are what I would consider plush items and they do have beans in them.  First there is Pooh and Eeyore, then Sleeping Beauty and Belle and last is Snow White and Cinderella.

Dress up Series

New Japan Disney Chip and Dale bean bags.   This is the fourth release in the Dress Up series.  They are dressed up and ready to celebrate a birthday.  Chip is holding a cake and Dale has a Birthday gift in his hands. They both have colorful Birthday hats on.
