Baby Pooh
Japan Disney stores has just released 2003 Japan Baby Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet Plush. Also released in the Baby line are the dangles shown below. I am told that these do have bean in them and they are just a bit bigger than the Lbbp we see from WDW.
There is entire length in Plush of Pooh about 20cm(about
7.9inch).
There is embroidery with "BABY POOH" and the golden thread behind
the left
foot of Pooh. The entire length of Tigger is about 22cm(about 8.7inch).
There are "BABY TIGGER" and embroidery in the same way with the
golden
thread. The entire length of Piglet is about 18cm(about 7.1inch).
The entire length of Eeyore is about 22cm. A bean is into the body.
A price is 1500YEN except for Piglet.
The price of Piglet is 980YEN.
The size of Dangle is about 9cm(about 3.5inch).
The price of Dangle is 680YEN.

Mother's Day Eeyore is now out in the UK Disney Stores. Cheryl emails that she bought him yesterday at the Disney Store at Lakeside. He's a lovely lilac colour and is holding one purple and one cerise flower in his mouth. He's sitting in the same style of Glitter Eeyore and Hot Choc Eeyore and has a large tag on him saying "Flower Garden". He retails for £6.99

March Horoscope Pooh
New to Japan Disney Store is Horoscope Pooh series for March. Pictured here is the Little Star Mbbp and its Dangle. The Mbbp is dressed in blue with blue footpads. On one of the footpads is a fish emblem to represent Pisces. The dangle is riding a big fish with a smaller fish emblem in the middle. The word Pisces is embroidered on the back. Pooh has wings on his back and white parts on him lights up at dark place. Pooh little star retails for 1200 yen and dangler is 680 yen.

Buru Buru Pajama Pooh
Buru Buru Pajama Pooh has been recently released at Japan Disney Store. He is following the Easter line of items. When you pull his little duck, Pooh's legs begin to move. It is very common for a Japan Little star to be released with a matching (or similar) Buru pooh and dangle. Pajama Pooh follows the Easter theme using ducks (Little star and dangle pictured below) Normally Buru Pooh is closer in size to mbbp. It appears this time (pictured with Horoscope little star to show size comparison) that Buru Pooh is quite a bit smaller. He retails for 1200 yen.

St. Patrick's Day Pooh
St Patrick's Pooh (name on tush) has just been released in the UK Disney Store. He is not dated this year. Pooh is made out of slightly soft terry toweling material. You will notice that this year he's lying down resting on one arm and with one foot kicked in the air. In his hand he's got a Shamrock and on his green hat he's got another shamrock. Under his jacket, which the pictures don't show, he is wearing a red sweater. He's priced at £6.99.

Pictured to the left is Mickey and Minnie Old Fashioned mbbp set (DLP exclusive ) this cute set is dressed in dark pink velvet outfits, Minnie with a sweet little hat on her right ear, Mickey appears as a perfect gentleman!
Then pictured on the right is rock stars set... Mickey and Goofy with guitar, Minnie as singer with microphone. These are said to be another DLP exclusive. Minnie is dressed in various shades of pink. They were announced last fall but their release had been delayed by DLP until now.
Mickey and Minnie Valentine Romance set - DLP exclusive. Minnie wears a red velvet dress with silver hearts on it, she carries a silver parcel in her hands. Mickey brings a bunch of roses and wears a kiss on his cheek!
Well it appears that this years Minnie has a familiar face. When you compare last year's Valentine Minnie from WDW (photo on right) and this year's Romance Minnie from DLP you will notice that they have the same dress and bow. It appears that they just changed the frame behind her back for the parcel in her hands and gave her silver shoes instead of yellow ones.

of an eggshell (white parts) Chicken Pooh retails for 980 yen and its

around the corner. Japan Disney Store have released Chicken Pooh this
season in last two years also. I asked the cast if Pooh if it is for Easter,

Update : Thanks everyone for the emails. It appears that a lot of people have received their Valentine Set.
This set is again showing unavailable online. Just a week ago they had disappeared and then reappeared the next day at Disney's online store. Reports were that there was plenty of stock on this item.. well that was last week. Those who have ordered this set have received a letter from Disney stating they are on backorder and Disney is committed to getting this set out to them in March. Now my question is... has anyone actually received their set yet?

UK Disney sites states release date to be March 3, 2002. As we now know releases are being put out as they get them. So he may show up at UK Disney stores sooner.
March 1st is St David's Day, the traditional day of the Welsh. To celebrate, this St David's Day Pooh Mini Bean Bag is dressed in a lambs outfit and is holding a bunch of daffodils, which are the national emblem for Wales.

CHANGE TO MINI BEAN BAG POLICY
On the UK Disney
website this note has been posted: Many
of you will recognize that, over the past year or so, the Mini Bean Bag
Collectors market has been changing, and that the days of queuing early on a
Tuesday morning for the latest Mini Bean Bag releases are no longer. In light
of these changes, Disney Store have been reviewing their Mini Bean Bag policy,
and feel that it is no longer relevant to today’s market. As such, our Mini
Bean Bag policy is no longer in effect either in-Stores or Online.
Disney Store remains committed to the Collectors market that remains and will
continue to release Mini Bean Bags as part of their quarterly ranges. We will
continue to show New Releases however please be aware that the release dates
shown will be a guide rather than a definitive date.

Candy Valentine Mickey and Minnie
Candy Valentine Mickey and Minnie now available in UK Disney Stores. They are MBBP retail at £6.99. There is also a larger plush version of these two which appeared last week.
Also new today were MBBP Elephant (Junior) and Tiger (Shere Khan) these are for Jungle Book 2.

Scruffy Mbbp
Pictured here is Scruffy Tigger another new bean bag to arrive in UK Disney Stores. The emblem on his backside is a Honey Pot. Tigger retails for £5.99
Update: It appears that Scruffy set which was on the UK list of up and coming beans in January has actually been around for a while. Michelle tells me that she actually bought this set back in September. When searching around for more information I noticed that the UK had received Tigger, Pooh and Piglet with honey pots back in March. But I do not know if they had the same name attached to them or if they were made by the same material. Horoscope Pooh
Horoscope Pooh a new Mbbp series in Japan that has just arrived at the Disney Store. Pictured here is Pooh and its Dangle. Their white parts on the body light up when you put them at dark place. The star on the top of Poohs 's coat light up also.
If you notice both feet have pads with color and on the one foot there is a lot of detail. The back of Pooh has winks attached to his purple coat. Pooh is one of Little Star, beanie is 1200 yen and dangles is 680 yen.

UK Disney online shows three new globes. They say available soon on the website. No news if they are in the stores yet or not. Michelle from Pooh Toys tells me that there is also an Ariel to go with the set. They retail for £9.99 each.

Valentines Beans in mugs
Disney online has a second Valentine mug set listed. This set sells for twice as much, retailing for £9.99. The mugs and the plush are bigger in size. All but Pooh appear to be the same character design. The mugs are designed very much like the ones we saw at Christmas, which characters hanging off the handle.

Denim Mbbp
New Denim Mbbp Tigger and Eeyore have started to arrive in UK Disney Stores.
They are blue with blue & white accents. Tigger has a blue and white striped stomach and foot pads. Eeyore and Tigger have stripped ears. Tigger's nose, eyes, eyebrows and inside of mouth is dark blue. Chin is white and the rest of him is light blue denim!

Cinderella emailed that her Disney Store had some of the Valentine Plush items out. She seems to think that they are waiting to put the mbbp out until after the sale on the mbbp is over. The next USA catalog street date is January 20, 2003. One new Mbbp item to show up in Disney stores will be a barking Patch from the new Dalmations.
Cinderella said she saw many new items. There is a new Lion King plush, Baloo plush and the Vulture. The Vulture is from Jungle Book 2 and his name is Lucky. Other plush I saw was Minnie Mouse in yellow and pink. Mickey Mouse in pink and purple. Small Plush poohs in yellow and pink and then pink and purple. Then small Plush Eeyore is purple and pink. Large Plush Eeyore and Large Plush Pooh in yellow and pink.
Small Plush retail for 19.50 each.

UK Disney Stores have released Valentine Plush Tigger, Eeyore and Pooh. Thanks to Jayne we have a picture of Tigger to show you. He is on the same lines of the Halloween Plush in the UK, full of beans. They retail for £16.99.
Eeyore is pictured here in a Valentine Bug outfit holding a lollypop.
Jayne also noticed a large Pooh with hearts on his feet. He was the normal colour of Pooh, but there was another Pooh, same size, but white and red, like the Candy Pooh MBBP of the USA. Also £16.99.

characters from the last animated feature that Walt Disney himself supervised.

Hundred Acre Wood
At the beginning of 2003 Disney Store is due
to release your favorite characters from the Hundred Acre Wood in a brand new
fabric. Rumors are that this set will feature more characters from the Hundred
Acre Wood than you usually see so keep your eyes posted for more details.

Arrival of Valentine Items
Tigger reports that UK Disney Stores are starting to receive their Valentine items. So far they have received Pooh & Eeyore Photo Frames. Both photo frames characters have heart antennas.
In Plush items they have received Eeyore hugging Piglet and Pooh lying down with
Roo on his back holding a balloon heart which flashes.
They have also received various holiday socks and nightwear.
