I should have new pictures of bean bags Furry Pooh and piglet winter from Yuki in Japan sometime this weekend.  Also,   I hope to have pictures of  TDL new M&M Plush Pins.

New Year Mickey

Those of you who ordered New Year Mickey from WDW be on the lookout for him.   They are starting to arrive.  I wish listed  him a few months back direct from WDW Merchandising.  Much to my surprised I got him yesterday.   Even more amazing was the fact that the charge to my Credit card came through my account the same day.   Usually I don't see the beans for about   7-10 after I have been charged.

Well the last few days have been interesting.   First all the bean bags were listed online, then part of them disappeared from online.  Now they are all listed online.   If you have not yet ordered now you can get them all.

Tokyo Disneyland - January 19 is the start date of the Party Express celebration.  This is to mark a 100 years since the birth of Walt Disney, creator of Mickey Mouse and his friends.  Now Mickey and his friends are organizing a party, in commemoration of Walt's birth and his love for trains.

On the first day of the special event, commemorative pins will be given to all Park guests.  As with most celebrations/events we have seen in Japan, we should also a release of special bean bags that coincide with the celebration.   Yuki will be attending the "Party Express Pre-event" on the 17th.  I will keep you updated on what we learn and bring you pictures as soon as they are available.

Release date for Pink and Blue Lucky BUNNY Pooh Little Stars is January 26th

Little Stars Mbbp Cake Pooh will be released January 5th in Japan.

WDW White Minnie mbbp

April tells me that she was released about 3-4 weeks ago. She is an exact duplicate of the larger plush designs.  Mickey is due to appear in January.

New Year Mickey

He has just arrived in WDW.  Mickey is dressed in a Red & Black Tuxedo, like last years. He has a Party Hat and a noise maker in his hand. He is wearing a Cream Banner that says "Happy New Year 2001" in Gold.

Yuki writes that Japan DS will release Horoscope Pooh Series. They are release every month of 1 kind.  Starting in January 2001.

Disney Prototype Mickey

Today we found Prototype Mickey on Disney's Auction site at Ebay.  I found it interesting to read the auction description (paragraph below)... in it you will notice that it says "beanbag may go into mass production at some point, it will be different than this particular prototype".   Well that is good news to me.   For I think these are adorable and I love the fact that I will be able to get a non-prototype version for a reasonable price.

Mickey Mouse looks enchanting in this one-of-a-kind Sorcerer Mickey beanbag created for Disneyland as a merchandise prototype. Mickey stands 8'' tall and his Sorcerer hat, cloak and boots are all white! The bottom of Mickey's boot has the ''Fantasia/2000'' logo embroidered in white. A handwritten tag is attached and has the beanbag title, size, and is marked with the creation date of November 8, 1999. Although a white ''Sorcerer Mickey'' beanbag may go into mass production at some point, it will be different than this particular prototype, making this delightful beanbag a unique collectors item.

Let's not forget Jiminy Cricket!

Kathi tells us that there is another new bean not pictured here.   Valentine Jiminy Cricket.  He is his regular green self holding a bouquet of 6 felt like red roses.  In his left had he has a velvet-like box (candy Box) and this is decorated with felt-like roses and leaves on the top.  The interesting part is that he has a small shamrock on his hat.  Sound a bit like he was recycled from last years St Patrick Day Jiminy Cricket.

Disney Pals wants your vote

I was emailed asking to spread the word about the Disney Pals Award

A couple of months ago, several of the Disney Pals were in chat and
discussing web sites and a way to let webmasters know we appreciate the hard work that goes into running a quality site. There are some great web sites that we all like to visit on a daily basis and not everyone knows the same sites.

After much discussion the Pals devised a way for everyone to express to these webmasters or gratitude for their hard work and to spread the word on these fine sites. On the Disney Pals web site at
http://www.fsoft.com/pals/login there is a link to "Disney Pals Award" where one may enter the Name and Web Address of their favorite Disney web site.

Nominations will be taken until December 15th, and voting will start
December 16th and run till December 31st. At that time, the web site with the most votes will be given the First Monthly "'Disney Pals' Site Award".
