December 31, 1999 Well it is here the last day of 1999 is finally here! Happy New Year everyone! _______________________ January Minnie has been showing up in local Disney stores so be on the watch out for her. _______________________ Millennium Mickey sold out at Disney World
Now what I want to know is how many of you are limiting the beanies you buying? What beanies are you collecting? and will you be collecting in the year 2000? If you email me I will post your thoughts and comments Year 2000 what will change in collecting? Only time will tell but it interesting to hear what you have to say and what you think will happen. It sounds like lots of TY only collectors are adding Disney Bean bags to their collections. I noticed on many TY trading board that there are more and more Disney bean bag ads. Many have changed or are changing from TY to Disney bean bags. I think it is because TY beanies are so frustrating to find but it could also have to do with the fact that Disney characters have a history with all of us. Overall I think we all enjoy collecting and the friends we have made and no one that emailed me is totally giving it up. Just limiting what characters or items they are collecting! Well here is what some of you had to say: Steph writes :"Uk Disney are getting so hard to get hold of as they sell out so quickly. I will personally be trying to get one of everything, as Disney seems to me much more fun than TY at the moment. They are also much more original." Jenn writes: "I have decided that the TY beans I have are MORE than enough, and no matter what the vote turns up, I WILL not support Mr. Warner anymore. I have gotten much more pleasure from pooh:o) I am only collecting Poohs, Eeyores & Tiggers including the ones from the other countries (I am in the US)." Marilyn writes, "I will continue to buy all the new MBBP that come out at the DS, DL, WDW and catalog. Will buy what I can afford in the UK ones." I just had to share them here, even though I have them on the pin page along with the other two that will be available tomorrow. I just love that they match some of the Mickey Bean Bags we have had released in the last month! Now lets have them release the bean bags to match the ones we don't have such as Two guns Mickey and The Simple little things :o)

December 22, 1999 Only a few more days till Christmas. News has slowed down some and lots of people are on vacation. I myself will be traveling out of town. Then after the New Year get prepared for NEW Catalog Items. They will be taking orders starting Jan 4th 2000!!
January Birthstone Minnie #20625-S10 she cost $8 and is mbbp Kelly tells us she is dressed in a white winter coat and white hat. She has on black boots that have white pompom's on them. She is holding a white muff in her hands. In the middle of the muff is a red (Garnet for month of January) stone. Thanks Kelly for scanning catalog picture so we could all see her! Director Mickey They were available on pre-order status back in September. Looks like they have finally arrived! They are now once again available on pre-order status to phone orders. I suspect those who have pre-ordered back in September will be getting their orders soon!

Released today in some stores in Europe. Baloo reports her store sold out of him. He sold for £6.99 and is a European Exclusive ______________ Another Cast Exclusive Bean Bag in our midst.
Mickey is wearing a white Company D shirt and Hat which sports the "D" logo on it. The back of the hat has CAST EXCLUSIVE embroidered on it. Rumor has it he will be limited to 500 and he does have 1999 on his foot which would mean a limited time available to me.

Mary Alice found this great guy at the Disney Store yesterday. He was such a surprise to find! ______________ Millenium Pins at 2pm today! Being released Tarzan, Toy Story 2, James and the Giant Peach, Three little pigs, Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Reluctant Dragon, 20, 000 leagues under the sea. ______________ A little late but here is the picture of the Aviator Pooh released in the UK Friday.

DUE out FRIDAY! Surprise release and announcement of Raincoat Pooh in Europe/Uk. This items was due out in April hence the term April showers that has been used in reference to this pooh. But the tag definitely says Raincoat Pooh. Merlin Donald was due out this Friday but for some reason he has not arrived (heard that there was a problem in production). Friday those in Europe/Uk will be able to get Raincoat pooh instead.
Baloo tells me that the emails that the CM's received did not stipulate whether it is euro exclusive or not but the quantity produced is 15,000 which is small in numbers and makes her think it may not be released in the USA for if it was the numbers would be higher.

The Laughing place posted pictures of Chef Pluto He is due out in the spring. The edition size will be 10,000 and the tags will be numbered. The price for all the beans are $7.88 plus tax ($8.50 including tax). They are available only at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. They are not available by mail order. If you want to read the whole article pop on over to www.laughingplace.com Surprise release of Aviator Pooh in the UK. It is not known if this pooh will show up in the USA or not. A quick glance at him would say "Hey, that is our Pilot Pooh." Well almost right... it does look very much like out Pilot Pooh but his jacket is a bit lighter in color. Not only that, but the back of the jacket has a embroidered emblem, which includes flyer wings and the saying "Pooh's High Flyer" Baloo thought it was made nicer than the Pilot Pooh and liked it a little better. Guess I will have to check them out together and see :o) Should be able to post picture by Baloo later today! :o)

I didn't mind of course :o) Well word has it these releases were not suppose to be put out yet. The official release date for the Valentine items is January 3, 1999 Now if you ordered these before they got the official email telling them to hold these items you were among the lucky few to receive these guys early. THANKS TO KIT for pictures of Valentine Beanie and Also for pictures of CHEF GOOFY which is available at Disneyland's Goofy's Kitchen. They do not take phone calls so will you have to trade or use a shopping service to get this guy!
First Edition of Chef Goofy was released about a month ago. It was limited to 15,000 and did not have the logo shown in this picture taken by Kit. Pictured above is the second edition of Goofy. He will be sold til 2001 and then the design will be changed again. Also remember it was said that Chef Pluto is to arrive in January or February! So now we have a keychain and a mbbp Beanie of Dragon Pooh (The mbbp won't be released til next week) You can contact Julie for Japan items.
_________________ JAPANESE NEW YEAR Kimono NEW Year Kimono's were released today also. As reported before they have the addition of the kitty and are being sold as a set only this time. They come bagged. At the top of the bag is a red tassel with red and white flower, gold bell, and two pine branches. These are all Japanese New Year symbols.
Mickey and Minnie are both holding a sign that says Happy New Year in Japanese and has 2000 on it. The keychain kitty that comes with Mickey and Minnie are in various colors Black, Pink, Yellow, White and each has a different saying. Basically they the cats are holding symbols that translate to mean good fortune, luck, happiness, love through out the New Year!.

Oh this has to be one of the best looking Pooh in a long time! I bet he won't last long on the shelves. Mary Alice tells us that you can push on his tummy and he lights up. The year 2000 on his foot. This is OUR FIRST Y2K Beanie that has arrived!!! The "00" of 2000 are shaped as hearts. The heart theme to include his heart atenia make me wonder if this little bug is a preview of Valentines to come? Linda recalls that Mickey and Minnie were released on the 10th of December so I would say it isn't to early. I find it hard to switch gears from Christmas to Valentines but I am thrilled with our new arrival! Special Thanks to Mary Alice I think she has Tinkerbell wings for she is always so quick to get the new items and post pictures of them! Also of course thanks for emailing his picture! __________ Disneyland got Cowboy Pooh mbbp. Pooh wearing Cowboy hat, boots and blue bandana. Not known if it will show up at Disney Stores yet.

Mickey is wearing a White T-shirt with a blue "D" on it. He is wearing a white baseball cap with "d" on it. From what I understand some of the money is being given to charity. He sells for 20 dollars and comes with a special print of Mickey Mouse and he is dated.... 1999 on his left foot! December 8th Well here we are .... Goofy is wearing silver helmet. Red tunic with cord tie round waist. He is carrying a sword and shields has on white padded gloves dark gray boots. Goofy even has a Band-Aid on his face and on his hands :o) What would a knight do without his horse? Next we see Pluto ready for action! hehe...
Baloo tell me that the store close to her has only received 36 each of these. These will be released this Friday. No word as to replenishments on these items or how limited they may or may not be.
